Born and raised in Edmond, Michael is a fifth generation Oklahoman. He joined our firm in 2021 after becoming a member of the financial services industry in 2018. Michael demonstrated his commitment to excellence by becoming a Certified Financial Planner, CFP® in April of 2023.
Prior to working in financial advising; Michael split his time between his studies at the University of Oklahoma and his family farm in western Oklahoma. Michael holds a Bachelor’s degree in political science and a Master’s degree in public administration. When not completing course work, Michael filled his time by working on the farm. He continues to help his family during busy planting and harvest seasons. Michael often jokes that he takes time off work to go work longer and harder hours!
Michael’s time on the farm taught him that mistakes can be costly. Therefore, Michael believes he is of greatest value when he helps prevent an investing mistake. As an advisor, Michael feels his greatest responsibility is to be a financial educator. In each of his appointments with a client, he works to build their knowledge and confidence. As a Certified Financial Planner, CFP® Michael uses his knowledge and expertise with each client to avoid harmful investing decisions and to eliminate financial uncertainty.
Michael is a Registered Representative and a Registered Investment Advisor. Michael holds his Series 7 and Series 66 Securities License as well as his State of Oklahoma life and health insurance license.
